Lime green/turquoise took almost 3 years because it spent a lot of that time as a UFO abandoned by me; blocks are 15" silk dupioni and embroidered. Daughter's quilt originally was for me but she claimed it.

First time I have seen Aquamarine quilt done with yellow sashing. It looks so nice.

Beautiful - both are gorgeous. I really like the stripe sashing effect in your dd's quilt.

So nice. I looooooooooooove your daughters - what choice of colors!!!!!! What is the name of that pattern? Okay got a question - thought I could figure it out but must be having a dumb attack. How did you do those white/cream squares? I would of thought there would of been a rectangle placed between the black strips, then a bigger piece in the next row, then another rectangle placed in the third row - to make a square. But when I look at the picture it just looks like a one piece square. Is this clear as mud?
