Not the best photo but this is a Christmas gift for my Mom and Step-dad. It a National Park Block quilt. They have been to almost all of the parks that are in the quilt. I have written the date they were there on the block.

Some friends and I are making a winter row by row. We each design a row and we all make them. I have 2 rows to go before I put it all together and border it. The next one is the hardest.

DH wants a fan quilt, which has gone to the back burner several times. The main reason was a diagnosis of cancer in a friend's 18 year old son, requiring a comfort quilt (now delivered)

All those beautiful pieces. My board has 2 formals (weddings) hanging on it right now. They are done and ready to be picked up.

I love this idea! Where did you find that fabric? Great, thoughtful gift for your parents.

If I had a design wall, which I don't, I would have up the first block I just completed yesterday from the Lori Holt book, Farm Girl Vintage. This is a block of the month from a LQS and actually we will do 4 or 5 blocks a month. Each block finishes at 6 1/2 inches and the one I finished yesterday was the Mama Hen Block which has 25 pieces. Needless to say this will be good practice in tiny, accurate stitching for me. The blocks and the fabrics are just so cute, it is really motivating! We will be making the sampler quilt that is shown on the front cover of her book.

Mine is folded up and in a drawer right now. I only have it up when the blocks have to be in a certain position.

I really enjoyed seeing all of your pretties, thanks for showing gals.

What a great thread! I love seeing all the works-in-progress. I don't have a design wall, but currently I'm in a "get em quilted" mode with all the tops I have accumulated. About to sandwich a vintage top I bought for hand quilting, as soon as I finish the wedding quilt I'm working on.
