I love this and as others said it is sure to become a treasured heirloom. Thanks for posting it.
I quilted this on my LA that I got a month ago. I used a combination of hand driven and robotics. The part done by robotics are the large motifs which I designed myself and digitized. All the background fill I hand drove the LA. I used for my top and backing Robert Kaufman Radiance which is a silk cotton blend so that it can be washed. I used Dream Orient batting, my favorite, which is a blend of silk, bamboo, eucalyptus and cotton it is a "dream" to quilt which is good because the radiance fabric is very difficult.

Hope that answers your questions.

I love this... i so often wonder why the ladies on this board who do such spectacular, intricate, gorgeous quilting on pieced quilts don't do and show us more whole cloth quilting - which to me would show off their amazing talent much more. Your work on this is just beautiful. It will surely be a family treasure.

Beautiful custom, and a beautiful covering. A lovely sentiment and a lovely job of quilting.
