Angel, the block is called Dusty Miller, it's just a tad different, in that it has a circle in the middle but I pulled it into EQ and made the circle a diamond. you can just use the wedge with the tri's.

I looked up that website and could not find any resemblance to the block you made. Am I doing something wrong? I'm trying to create a block for a quilt for my son in red, white & black and yours look perfect. I have the fabric, all I need is a pattern. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I don't have the capability to look at a block and figure it out without a pattern. Thanks!!

Beautiful block! This is going to make a great medallion for your quilt.
