I am doing some quilting this morning, HOPEFULLY will be completing this quilt today. I finished quilting the last star piece and carefully looked all over to make sure I didn't miss any.

After checking I stood back and took a quick picture with my phone and the second I looked at it on the phone, I saw one that I missed right in the middle!! I was standing right there and searching for missed ones and didn't see it.

That's why I started taking pictures of my blocks before sewing them. For some reason I can see mistakes and color placement better.

I think that is called your "mind's eye". Your looking at something by a different media and not just seeing it. Beautiful quilt!

I tend to take pictures all through making a quilt and that's a good thing because it prevents me from making a lot of mistakes.

Thank you... The quilting isn't very good, I'm pretty bad at it. I hope the friend it is for doesn't look too closely!

It's the second light diamond from the left, bottom left side. I didn't do the curved line of stitching on it.

Very nice but I do the same thing - I've got it laid out on the floor...staring at it; put it together; search it; snip threads; notice nothing..........Post on here and see every mistake!!!

I had to look hard to see it and couldn't find it till I read this. It's beautiful and your friend will love this quilt.
