I am determined to keep using up my stash. I also want to try new things to get out of my matchey box.

I grabbed 6 FQs of kids type prints and made them into quilts for our local hospital. Lo and behold---1930's and modern look just fine together.

The larger one is from a guild Christmas present of a box of matching FQs. This will be a charity quilt of yet an undetermined recipient. the right one always comes along.

Here is the website for this free pattern.

Look under free patterns. It is fun and easy. I do not make the border scrappy as I sometimes do not have enough from cutting. Plus I like using stash for it.

don't you just love the way something 'wicked easy' turns out so 'wicked pretty'. I have that pattern - you made me want to use it now. On the list it goes...
