Wild quilt in progress

IHN is Interfaith Hospitality Network.
it is a program for homeless families with children. They sleep in the churches on air beds. (Each church hosts the families for one week at a time). The parents get counseling and help with job searches, etc. Each church provides a driver for the van to get everyone to school or the dayhouse and provide the evening meal. The success rate is very high. Great program.

No sunglasses needed here. I love bright colors and I love the quilt. I am cutting out several. #1 is called Old Glory and it is an old pattern. I am giving it a new look. #2 is a DWR that will have lots of bright colors in it. Old Glory was making toooooo many good scraps to toss. I re-purposed from one that I had cut out a few yrs ago. it was during my turquoise phase. I just love color

Oh my goodness - it made me smile just to see the picture come up.
That was the initial impression. But as I looked at it more closely, I saw how masterfully you offfset the hot colors(orange/pink) with the cool(blue/green)and gave our eyes a place to rest.
I think it is awesome! What could have looked like a bad southwestern omlette  turned out to remind me of a beautiful sunrise. But yours will last for more than the minute we get to say "Oh!" and then it is gone.
Bravo!
