Woo Hoo!!! Ready to sew the last two rows together!

The pieces for the strips between the rows are ALMOST done, just a couple more little blocks. Maybe I can get it done by the end of this weekend. :-D

It's been intense work! It's smaller than I wanted it to be because the Balipops that I used are not cut accurately at 2.5" so, I had to make the blocks 4" unfinished size instead of 4.5". The finished size overall will be 76.5" x 97.5", which is pretty good for a full-sized mattress.

The pattern is called Faceted Jewels and I've only seen pictures of it done in bright colors with white background. My daughter's bedding is beige with dark brown piping so I did it in brown batiks to go with her bed.

I love your quilt. It is absolutely stunning. If I had my way, I would quit my job and do patchwork all day! Honestly, the work invloved in the creative process demands time and that is what produces excellent work! Thank you for sharing. It is without doubt a gorgeous quilt.
