Absolutely she will love it! Congratulations on stepping outside your comfort zone. Those fabrics are very interesting - what you can see of them in the strips.

I am not the young artistic kind but I love it. This pattern is one I am working on with selvages. She is going to love it. You have modernized it with your beautiful color choices!
