My first thought was green the lighter ones in the quilt would look nice I think. Good luck finishing it's the hard part I think. Sue

Wow, I really love this quilt. So simple, yet so elegant.

I would make a red backing. I love your quilt. It sure is winter elegance.

I was thinking along the lines of lighter color. Maybe a not-very-busy red print on a cream background. IMHO

Lovely quilt. I'm thinking red or picking up one of the greens.

this is a lovely quilt......as for the backing, any of the colors previously mentioned would do nicely. You have many choices here. Can't wait to see what you decide!

I would either do a green print that doesn't pick up the darkest shade of green in your quilt or red. There is a lot of dark green in it so I would think it would be a nice to change to stay away from that. Lovely quilt and done just in time!

I would use a red or green print that goes with or compliments the front

Oh my gosh. I'm working on a very similar quilt with very similar material. May be the same material, I can't quit tell and forgot the name of mine. I was looking at JoAnn's sale thinking a green and red plaid would be great for the back with a red binding. I'm going to offset every other row so I don't have to match all those seams though. Thanks for sharing. I wasn't sure I'd made a good choice cutting up those layer cakes but now I'm glad I did. Love your quilt.
