I like them both. I'm especially fond of cardinals and like your fabric for #2. The first one would be a good way to use the 5" pieces you get together in the charm packs.

Those are really pretty. I love the scrappy one so much but then again I just love those holiday bird prints. I guess I can't pick a favorite, they're both so nice. Thanks for sharing.
