I really don,t know the pattern think it was "Broken Dishes" and I figured it out how to turn the small 4" blocks to make the dark and light circles, there are 4-4" blocks to make and 8" block I made the HST 2" finished size.

WOW, Jill, only a quilter could visualize that something as simple as a HST could blossom into something so beautiful. I just love scrappy quilts!
    Wonderful Job

    Jill,
That is amazingly beautiful. What a perfect quilt!

I love the way you make the eye flow from dark to light and around the circles. Just a wonderful quilt.

Beautiful Jill - I love the way the stars are picked out in the cream and the colours flow around them! All those HSTs, wow! Did you speed piece them, I mean that two squares sewn together then cut on the diagonal - don't know if that's what you call speed piecing!
