Default WIP string quilt

This is a WIP. I know, I know, I need a design wall. This was laid out on my dining room table and it was not big enough. I have the squares sewed together now but not quilted. Not sure what to use for the backing and how I will quilt it just yet. Sometimes it needs to sit and it has to speak to me before I can finish it. HA HA.

Very neat. I like what you did with it all and love the colors you put together.

That is a very striking and attractive collection of strings! I love that you've chosen to go with such a strong primary color plus green theme. It makes it a lot more graphic than many scrappy quilts can achieve and the effect is awesome!

I love your scrappy string quilt! It is so eyecatching! I am going to save this for when I eventually have more scraps to make a scrappy!

separating the colors in to groups made it stand out. But you can see many of the colors had other colors in them and not necessarily primary colors but they still "read" the color of the group I put them in. Using up my string scraps. I'm going to try a pink and purple one, just don't have enough strings in those colors yet.

Another one on my bucket list. That I should live so long. It is beautiful, and I love the blocks of colors. Great beginnings to a great quilt.
