I know that rose technique. My Mom crocheted them so I know they are very dimensional. It is truly gorgeous.

That is a beautiful crocheted bedspread, love the roses in varegated pink, make a coverlet years ago in that color.
It is amazing that a family would part with that, so painstaking, real family heirloom. She did elegant work, her gauge is perfect, as well as sewing the blocks together, looks professional. What a blessing from Kim! The templates are neat too.

Yes. It is crocheted. I fiddle a little bit with the hook. But, not to this extent. I'd never pick up that small of a thread to work with. I don't know what kind of thread she used but this stretches a little. Its not a yarn. Or a cotton thread. It feels wonderful!

OMG I live in Arkansas and have one just like it!! My grandmother made all the grandchildren one in the 1950's.
