I mentioned in an earlier post that I recently mentioned to my DH that I had a tiny little childs Singer sewing machine when I was very little. I thought when we cleaned out my parents home after they passed that I would find it but that wasn't the case. Well a few days later that darling man informed me that I would he had found one on EBay and it would be here on Friday. Will the little baby Singer arrived and it is exactly like the one I had as a child. DH just spent several hours this evening lovingly polishing and lubricating the little darling. It really sews!!! Makes a chain stitch. Just like I remember! Thought I would share a few pics.

Wow, what a cute little machine. And what a great hubby to find one for you then clean it all up!

I see your Bernina QE in the background. That's also a very nice machine. :)

Thank you. I know I really won't sew with the Baby Singer, but it brings back such wonderful memories of the time I spent with my mom as she taught me to sew. Hubby is definitely a keeper. (Ah...my sewing room needs some attention.. )

You are right. That is Nina, my 440QE, great machine!
