Default A wonderful time stash building

A couple of weeks ago I was in the Seattle area visiting my family. One of the things I wanted to do was to visit some of the quilt shops in the area. (I wasn't into quilting when I lived there.) We visited shops in Seattle, Tacoma, Port Gamble and Gig Harbor. And to top it all off, I ended my visit with a trip to the Pacific West Quilt Show in Tacoma. It was a great show and I had a blast checking out the vendors. I went kind of crazy buying fabric. When I was done, I wasn't sure I'd be able to fit it all into my suitcases. I was a bit worried about the weight limit, but everything worked out okay. I'm so excited about my finds, that I justed wanted to share. And now later this week is the Madison Quilt Expo, which, of course, I'm going to! Thanks for letting me share.

I know those shops well! Port Gamble is a favorite! Glad you had a nice time in our neck of the woods. Summer in the Pacific Northwest is simply the best

We went to Houston years ago and they had a mailing service supposedly to send your purchases back home, but tons of women were mailing their dirty laundry back so they'd have room for their new fabric!
