I've decided I want to make one of these for a giveaway quilt. I know it is a lot of work but think of the enjoyment a child would get from it.

Reminds me of a childhood favorite:

There was a crooked man and he had a crooked house.......

Yeah, yeah, I remember that....oh, what fun! You know when I was a child growing up in Northern Va., we were on tv and in the studio, Dr. Seus happened to be walking by! I got to see him and what an impression he left on me at such a tender age (5-6yo)!! He smiled real big at me and I could see his love for children beaming all over him! So I guess what I'm saying is my love for childhood things comes through loud and clear in this quilt. I meant it for children for a children's charity, but now with all the 3-D items, a charity would not accept it so guess it'll go to a child somewhere!

:-D :-D :-D

That would be great and I know that a child would just love it! Actually, it wasn't too much work. I caused myself a lot of makeovers on it because of not planning ahead so it would've been done quicker had I planned it right but I do love working extemporaneously on things.lol. We'd love to see it when you're finished!

:D :D :D
