hee hee, bet you thought you'd see a full-size fancy-schmancy thing! nope, just a little 'ol potholder i made for our Aunt Esther. needed something quick and easy. i used the ezquilt template for the starter piece and scraps from my mom's jacket for the rest.

easy-peasy! and fun! now to make a bunch more for dd's five teachers!

What a nice looking potholder and you did a great job. I have always wanted to try crazy quilting. Was it hard to do???

it really wasn't, using that template.

kind of like paper piecing (hope that doesn't turn you off). you just cut the five-sided center/focal piece then add the pieces around it.

i found a nice tutorial website that actually showed pictures. i was surprised that ezquilt didn't have a tutorial on their site. i have the site on my other computer. i'll post it in a wee bit.
