The binding uses 2 different trims I found. I basted the first trim, which has the loops going toward the quilt, onto the edges. Then I applied a slightly wider-than-normal bias binding to the front side of the quilt. Folded it around to the back, so that it was wider on the back than it was on the front. I pinbasted in place. Back to the front, and couched the 2nd trim over the binding seam, using a small zigsag stitch, so that the stitches were just inside the edge of the binding on the back. For the couching, I used a metallic thread that matched the trim.

This is great. I also took her class and bought her book but havent done anything yet. I love the colors too.
