    finally starting my first actual patchwork quilt. since i don't have a walking foot, i've got plenty of time to work on the quilt top. 9 patch seems like more good practice on proper cutting and 1/4" seaming. and i love mixing it up with the disappearing 9 patch. they turn out so interesting!

    just using vintage and/or thrift store fabrics, so it's very scrappy. these are the two main blocks. i've got a couple more that i may work in that will be somewhat different because i don't have the same amount of every fabric.

    these are my first two completed blocks. ever!

    You have done a great job of matching the seams. I think that is one of the hardest for beginners. That and cutting accurately!
