This is my latest attempt. I did it last week and I am trying to get it on my table to be quilted. I am doing it for my son's 12th birthday and his room is decorated in military style and needed a camouflage quilt to go with it.

i'd tell you how kewl it is but ... i can't see it ... where did it go? it disappeared into all those bushes over there. :shock: :lol:

I had no idea that camouflage could look so great! Wonderful quilt. You just know it's going to be loved for a long, long time!

With four grandsons I know one of these quilts is bound to be in my future quilt making adventures. :D

I used two different squares that seemed to compliment each other. Railroad crossing and underground railroad. They are pretty much the same block only one is a 4 patch and the other a 9 patch. They merged together better than I thaught that they would.

thank you for all your replies. I had fun doing it. I got the fabric mostly from Wal-Mart. There is a duck print there that someone gave me a scrap of. It all worked well together.
