Progress is steady. This didn't actually take as long as I thought.

Now, the pattern calls for mitered borders. I'm scared. I've never done mitered borders before. Actually, all my borders have been kind of haphazard, make-them-fit kind of borders. How can one be scared of fabric? :| But I am.

That's looking great.
I've thought about ordering some of Jinny Byer's kits. Did she send you plenty of everything you needed? Just curious.

Haven't cut into the border fabric yet, but so far I have a strip of every fabric left and some extra blocks I didn't cut into.

So pretty! Mitered corners are no big deal. Just remember that you must square up after you sew thim on, and you will be OK. I am sure there are wonderful tutorials on here.
