Oh my.... I am SOOOO proud of my self! I actually made a quilt top WITHOUT having to tear out and restitch ANYTHING! LOL That is definately a first!
I am attempting to make, for the first time, a truly reversible quilt with 2 totally different designs on each side. This photo shows the first side. Now I am working on a "string" quilt using only 2 shades of purple as that is my granddaughter's favorite color. The blocks are going together really well so far. The only challenge I see is how to get them lined up correctly when I sandwich them for quilting.... any suggestions?

Very cute! I guess the best way to line them up is to fold into quarters and press both front and back, line up.

I would think that extra wide borders should be called for in case there has to be a little more trimming than originally planned for.
