Please be sure to hang on to that machine. They are priceless and so hard to find. I have one with all attachments, that my husband bought years ago at a garage sale for $10.00 and was offered $125.00 that same day. You can order books on Featherweights and go to Singer.com to discover the year it was "born" by looking at the serial #. It is really a unique little machine and sews beautifully. For anyone who knows about sewing they will pay HIGH dollar for them, so don't let it go. If you decide to do a Log Cabin quilt in the future, I hightly recommend Log Cabin Quilts in a Day book by Eleanor Burns. Her shows ar really good to teach you different teniques and lots of help if you don't have someone close by to help. Try and find a quilt guild where you are and join, you can learn so much, whether you are new at quilting or have quilted for a long time. This is a great site with so much info, and everyone so willing to help. Congratulations on your new found hobby, you will love it. Don't forget to continue to crochet though, both are great fun. What kind of puppy is that? I have a cocker spaniel and I call her Flopsie Mopsie, eventhough her name is Chloe!
