Wow!!
To all of you who posted projects you have finished. WOW!!. I am so impressed and somewhat depressed by the quality and quanity of your work. I produce about 20 Linus quilts a month but they are as simple and as basic as I can make, usually a childish print with a layer of batting and flannel on the back. This last month I have crocheted my way through a whole box of precut fleece blankets that the Linus Chapter had donated to them. I crochet a colorful edge around the plain fleeces to make them a little special for the children. The only quilt related thing outside of Linus that I did recently was make little "thread catchers" for my Bee friends.
I always have a small handquilting project ready to add a few stitches to if I am not doing anything else and I work at handquilting on a raffle quilt at our local Senior Center one morning a week.
While I still collect fabric and quilt gadets I know that someone else will have to dispose of much of my stash someday in the future.
Ironically I won a king size pieced and appliqued quilt raffled off by a local guild just last week. It is beautiful but to big and heavy for my bed.
I am proud to be a small part of such a talented group of people.
Happy Holidays everyone.

It sounds like you have been busy to. I'm barely getting the blocks finished for a quilt I want to put together. I get totally intimidated by how quickly some of the people on here put together quilts. I'm amazed by their talent.

20 Linus quilts a month??? Wow, I am impressed. Even if they are simple, they are made with love. Consider yourself one of the "angels among us". Keep up the good work. Here, I thought I was doing something great in 2012 by planning on one Linus Quilt a month. Looks like I will have to up my ante and do at least 2 a month. Merry Christmas.
