It only took me six months to design it, piece it and quilt it. I was kind of afraid to quilt it, I didn't want to mess it up. All the feathers are freehand. They're a challenge.But it came out just fine. WHEW! Thanks for looking. Everyone here is so wonderful. :thumbup:

Thank you for the compliments. I was really terrified i'd mess it up. I did get the borders done today. Now I can check for wild threads and make sure I don't leave any signature pins in it. (which I've become famous for in my family) And get it sent off to my friend in SC. It's a gift for her brother and his wife.
