I purchased this sewing machine at a yard sale last weekend for $50. The lady said she had never used it. When looking it up on the internet I found out that it is "commercial grade". No wonder it sews at light speed. It came with quite a few sewing feet, but no instruction book. I tried to download it from the Singer site, but it won't download properly. Does anyone out there have a instruction book for the Singer CG-550?

I also came across a Singer site for manuals. It looks like there is a free download for that manual -- is this the one you tried?

Yes, there is something wrong with their download and I can't get it to open on my computer. If someone else can open it could you please send it to me as a document.
