this is the small room that is my sewing room.. it is where my creative juices take place... notice how hubby triimmed out my cubbies??? lol
next is a cabinet with doors that my mom has ,,,it holds over 300 spools of thread.. that will be very nice when i hijack it from her...lol

What a great way to show off your yardstick collection!
And so appropriate for the sewing room too!!!

Maybe you could show us a closer view, too?

and how quickly you can measure fabric-- just pull out a piece from the shelf, and measure it right there!

it's not really a collection of yardsticks.. he bought them at homedepot for .60 a piece to trim out my cubbies.. but i think it's very appropriate and it works for me !!

Great idea, none the less!

I always like it when a collection or memorabilia is actually put to use ... and not left as dust collectors, thus why I jumped to the conclusion, in knowing people who collect antique yardsticks.
