I started quilting in April 06. Have worked hard at improving the skills of quilting. Still need a LOT of practice. My biggest problem is matching colors. I am not creative. Hope you like what I have already done (and gave away). these are some wall hangings that I did mostly for practice.

Your angels are beautiful! Are they applique or embroidery or some other technique?

I'd have to say that you certainly don't need any more practice :!: All three are just fabulous :!:

All three wall hangings were machine embroiderd and then just quilted by stippling around the design and stitching in the ditch on the rows. I enjoy doing them as they can be completed in a short time. The log cabin quilts were done with a 1 inch (light color) sewn with a 1 1/2 inch strip (dark color) the block measures out to 10 1/2 inch square unfinished. I added extra rows as the kids wanted them to hang over the mattress. They are used as a bedspread.

All three are great! I'm not a color expert but I think your color choices are real good. Keep up the good work.

In stitches,
