Today was spent cleaning out the laundry and bath for the new flooring tomorrow. Anyway, I have lots of shelves in the laundry and that is where I'm keeping all my boxes of crafty stuff right now. As I cleaned I ran across these that I had FORGOTTEN about!!!

Needlework for another pillow that DH suggested I make into a quilt center..like a RR...great idea!!!

Cross stitch that I intended to make into a pillow..but didn't know how to piece the top..so set it aside

Wow Patti! What a great find!
Don't you love it when you find things like that?

WOW!!! Patti-I don't ever find treasures like these when I clean!! I used to do counted X stitch so I know how much time has gone into your pillow top piece. It is just beautiful!! I would be happy to finish it into a pillow for you.

I think the other piece would be absolutely gorgeous as the center of a round robin quilt. Great idea from your husband!!

I remembered that I had made the green one..but that was before I learned to quilt and I didn't know how in the world to piece together the top. I sewed on the fuzzy stuff...probably need to take it off and start over with that one.

I had forgotten that I ever made the other one..I bet it was 10 years ago. I found a few more things that I had intended to have framed..(my Mom did all my framing and when she passed away)..I just stuck everything in a box and forgot about it all. I just couldn't make myself go anywhere else and pick out the frames. :( Anyway...I found what I had made for DH for our 15th anniversary..never gave it to him...our 25 is coming up next week!

Why sandpat, it's just like Christmas! What great finds and I love both of them, also the idea of a RR quilt.

Gee ... Those are just beautiful patti. You are going to finish them now, right? Don't you dare put them back away! They are too pretty not to out where they can be seen. (Easy for me to say, huh?)

Those are beautiful!! Your DH is completely right, the second one would indeed make an awesome quilt center!!
