Default yesterday's project - my first jelly roll race

When I went to guild on Saturday, they asked for volunteers to finish some charity quilt tops. The jelly roll was home made and some of the fabrics were 'iffy'. When it was done, I felt more confident about those fabrics. I decided to dress it up a little by using the angled cuts on the ends. When the sewing was complete, I felt the top was small. However, after sewing, it measured 50"x64". Big enough! Our guild takes the tops back and has someone put it in a finishing kit - backing, batting, and binding. However, if one doesn't like to do binding, you can give it back as some members love to do binding

Good job. Did my first jelly roll quilt for Project Linus. Mine was done with flannel....I'd like to make one from cotton. Maybe soon...I've got quite a bit of 2-1/2" strips leftover from bindings that I might use. It's a pretty quick quilt...for sure!!!
