This is my first post...but I've been lurking and watching all the beautiful quilts, runners, etc., that you all have been making. I was inspired to make this table runner using the tube technique.

The white background is actually white-on-white hollies also. I tried machine free-motion quilting some holly leaf outlines into the white area...the tension isn't right so the dark thread shows through on the front, but maybe someone will think that was intentional :-)

Also...a Christmas patchwork apron using LOTS of Christmas fabrics.

Welcome to your posting and we would love to see your photos! I think its only the quilters who pay any attention to the fine details everyone else is just wowed so dont worry too much about the thread. Good luck on your apron!

Very pretty! It could be that you previewed your post - for some reason, doing that drops the attachment.
