This is what I found at a Thrift Store yesterday. There is 2 yds. 4" of the bluish/purple flannel and it's 54" wide. The Disney Pooh Bear fleece is 1 yd. 30" and is 60" wide. I washed it and don't know what to use it for.

I paid $1.99 for the Pooh fabric and $1.50 for the flannel.

I am making baby quilts, children quilts/throws for Mission of Hope and I need some advice as how would be best to use this and get the most use of it. I don't have any fleece to make a double fleece blanket. I guess I could use the flannel to back a large (maybe twin size quilt).

Could someone help me with ideas? I would really appreciate it.

Get some solids to match and just cut big squares for the pooh fabric so you can see the design..maybe 8" sqs? The purple one is too cute..use it as a focal sq in a D9P one...good find...Linda B.

Make a flannel baby blanket. Use flannel on both sides or use a cotton or cotton blend for one side.

I like this idea...or use the pooh fabric with a solid framing it as a back....great find.

This is a combo fleece flannel project I did, doesn't matter if one side is Pooh and the other side is not.

Perfect fabrics for quilts for children... and there are a lot of charities to give them to. Also, e.quilt.com has a "quilts for Japan" program going.
