Great job on the quilt! She looks very happy with her quilt. You are my Sunshine is one of my favorite songs, and my newest kitty is called Sunshine.

Fabulous one can tell your mom loves her new quilt. I'm so glad some of you are able to make lovely things for your moms who are still with us. My mother passed away 27 years ago and I still miss her so much. I would love to have her with me now and be able to make her a beautiful quilt. "You Are My Sunshine" was her favorite song, she sang it for as long as I could remember. I was not into quilting before we lost her to cancer, but I did make her a white king size quillow for her May birthday and Mother's Day with a large red rose that I machine embroidered on the pillow about 3 years before she passed away. I still have that quillow, but can't bring myself to use it.
