I have made these 4-patch blocks meant to be made into a lap quilt and really have no idea how to best piece them together. Here I have arranged them all together but I'm thinking that maybe I should put white sashings around each block. What do you think? I have more blocks which I have not included here. Thank you!

I like it without the sashing.

Depends on how big you want it, I guess. I like the looks of them side to side like this, and then I would put a border and maybe a little applique on the border. But sashing them with narrow sashings would look okay too.

I like that but i think i would lay it out and see how the sashing looks. maybe try taking one of the colors and putting on the end of the sashings

I think putting white sashing between will make the colors pop. Try laying it out with the white and take another picture. Then you will be able to compare the 2 pictures.

I'm getting ready to do a 4 patch quilt but I am putting a 4" white square in between each block to break it up. I can't wait for retreat!!!!

You might consider setting them on point with white blocks in between. Lay it out on a white sheet or piece of fabric to see how it looks.

Oooooh, with the bright colors that you have, have you considered using black for the sashing?
