The tans seem to be very popular for baby blankets & clothes these days, from what I've seen. I knit hooded zip up the back baby sweaters & all the young moms seem to want the tans and earthy colours (I always tend to look for the pastel yarns). It will look great

I don't normally like tan very much, but for this I love it. It just fits well.

Also, I agree with Susy that the tans are popular now.

I like the tan to off set the blue and red which are strong colors

I agree!
I am tending to use the tan for more background than stark white ... it makes the colors pop in a rich way ... and, if I can find a wood grain with that tan, I am really happy! The quilt looks exciting with those three fabrics.
I think if another color got added, it would look really dark and broody ..
This is going to be so fun getting done!

I think the tan works! Kind of like a leather glove to go with the baseball fabric!

I agree with the tan - it's not a colour to 'shine' on it's own but it's great for setting off other colours. And as Debbie says, it's the colour of a baseball mitt! LOL
