I asked my nephew if he wanted a quilt for his senior graduation, and if so, what colors he'd like it in. He definitely wants one, and he wants his quilt in camoflauge (I'm not sure why though, he's not a hunter!).

If you've made a camo quilt before, would you mind posting a picture of it here so I can see it? I'm having a very hard time trying to envision what pattern and color combination to use for this! I googled camo quilts, and found just very plain ones, which I guess is probably masculine and what he's looking for?

    Thanks for your help!

I have one in my mind...

I will do the 10 minute blocks with the green camo and put flags / stars / patriotic types as the center pieces.

My GS loves the army stuff and I thought this would be great idea for him without being "gooshie".

Hi, don't know if this will help you come up with an idea ... I made a Disappearing 9 Patch using "almost" camoflage fabric (with leaves) ... my son requested a quilt with dark colors. He's very happy with this.

    "Sort-of" camoflage

Camo is very popular right now in clothing. So I can see why a young man might like a quilt done in it.

This one done in light and dark camo would be awesome. Maybe use the light camo where the green is? :D:D:D
