Default Zigzag Wedding Quilt

Zigzag or is it Chevron? The bride's sister asked me to make a quilt for the bride getting married in 3 1/2 months. I didn't think it was possible but I couldn't say no. I told them it had to be simple. The bride chose a picture on Pinterest and wanted a dark gray and dark teal. I made a few changes and drew a pattern for it. Then sister and I went to my lqs and picked fabrics. It is machine pieced and loosely hand quilted. Start to finish it took about 2 months. In the meantime another sister has gotten engaged with the possibility of a wedding in Feb. I may have to get that one machine quilted as I am determined to join in with Bonnie Hunter's new mystery.

Real pretty quilt. I love the colours! Is it the same teal and blue or are they different fabrics? Would like to see the whole quilt if we can. This is real pretty. And I think you can do the same for the other sister too. That will connect you to them forever.

Yes, FabStripper, every row is a different fabric. It goes from light teal and light gray to a dark teal and a charcoal. I will try to get a more complete picture tomorrow. There are a few rows missing in the photo.

Thanks for for the kind comments!
