These have been around for a while, but since a friend had never seen them, I'm sharing with all of you. I learned to do these on a Martha Stewart show but there are several variations online. Look for old zippers at your flea market! One zipper makes 2 roses...
Quilter's gift wrap, 1 FQ & a handmade trim!

My girls love these!

You do some of the neatest stuff!!! I love to make unique bows on my gifts. When my nephew got married he told his wife that he wanted to open the gift I gave them at the reception. (they were waiting until after their honeymoon for the rest) She asked him how he would know which one it was without digging through them all. He looked at her and simply said, "I'll know." He sent his dad to ask me to go out into the hallway. My nephew came out with my gift and his wife said, "He says he knows this is the one but he wouldn't let me look in the card." It was mine. The bow was a large pale rose candle ring with another large single rose in the middle to look like a nosegay. There were ribbons flowing out from it that I had glued tiny rose buds on. He told his wife that I never used "normal" bows on gifts.
