I had a lot of time waiting this weekend, so I sewed to keep myself sane. My mom is dying - she has maybe 2-3 days left, I keep from eating by sewing.

Oh-so sorry to hear about your Mother! Quilting is the best therapy to make you feel better. Your quilts are lovely!

I am so sorry to hear about your mom...I used to sew or crochet while sitting with my mom in the hospital or later back at home while she was on hospice. It was a great way to pass the time, and not have her feel like she was "keeping me from stuff". Sending you lots of prayers and big, big hugs!
