I've sewn two of the balloons and have one more to go. At this point I'm also thinking about sky background. Which one do you think?

I like the darker blue, but actually I like the mix. Sky would not be one color and I like it moving from light to dark. Cute bears.

Ditto! The lighter blue is pretty close to the blue in the balloon (at least in the photo, may not be in real life), so the darker would give better contrast.

Darker blue looks the best. I agree with LindaM about the light being too close.

Wonderful quilt!! I like the darker of the two blues for the background.
