I've had several pms asking about the mirrors I mentioned in making my kaliscope blocks. These little mirrors help you "preview" what the kscope will look like when sewn together before you even make a single cut in your fabric. They are not my invention, my step dad made these for me - he and my Mom saw them in south Texas so he went to the 99cent store and bought the mirrors and put a set together for each of us. They are a wonderful tool for making kscopes. The mirrors are 4"x5". They are taped on the 4" sides with the mirrors facing each other. The tape works like a hinge. You adjust the mirrors to the size of your kscope and preview what it will look like. I've attached some pictures to help explain better.

Excellent, thanks for that. I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of a k/scope book. I shall get my husband to make me one of these so I'll be good to go.
