... you had just purchased a 40-strip jelly roll of yummy solids; some double-strips, some single of the same color. Let's say you can't add any fabric to this roll. Just with what's here. Well, that's first choice. Second choice: add just ONE color.
Posted this in Pictures, because I'm hoping you will post a photo or picture of a quilt you've made, would like to make, or a link to quilts that you think would be great for this roll: What would you make with this jelly roll? |
Those strips would be gorgeous in a bargello. Too bad you would need lots more strips but those colors are gorgeous.

Missouri Quilt Company tube quilt. The contrast of those colors would be striking.

I would have to add black, and then BAM!

How about this one?
http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-44258-1.htm I have one almost finished, but it came out huge because I didn't count the strips and apparently I had a ton more than 40! :( |
I would make a strip tube quilt using the Cozy quilts pattern called Daniela.

How about an Irish Chain? Those strip sets are great for Irish Chains.
