Just wondering what the experience was like for those who may have taken a class from Quilt University.

I would like to know as well

I took the full selection of EQ5 classes. The reference material was great. I printed everything and put it in a binder...still use it too.

A friend did a couple of years ago, and she felt it was really worth it.

I noticed someone mention it in a thread earlier today .... and am totally curious!

Do hope those in the know will tell us more about QU!

I've heard nothing but good things about QU.

I've taken a couple of classes thru them and was very happy with the experience. Reasonably priced and easy to follow instructions and usually the instructor will email you with answers to questions.

I've taken several classes at Quilt University. I can't say enough great things about the experience! The classes are great, taught by very experienced people (some quite famous), there's a separate forum for each class so the students and the instructor can 'talk' throughout the whole process. You can work at your own pace, at any time you want, you'll meet some great people there from all over the world, the price is fantastic and the choice of classes is huge!

There's a free sample class on borders if you want to see how the whole thing works. You'll also learn some stuff about borders and you can go back any time to retake it...the password never changes. http://www.quiltuniversity.com/registrar_free.htm

Oh, they also have a very large library section with a large amount of quilting information for anyone to use and discussion areas for anyone to ask questions, also a book review section, product reviews, lots and lots of good stuff. Go look around, you won't regret it I promise.

I too have taken many classes from Q. U and I have enjoyed them all. I agree with all of ghostrider's comments. Give the freebie a try You'll like.
