Learned this from my quilt shop owner. Place any size squares right size together ( light and dark.) Sew quarter inch all the way around. Then cut corner to corner across the square. You will have four half square triangles. Sew together in the pinwheel. Fast, fun, easy.

This works well, but leaves you with selvage edges. It can be helpful to starch the fabric first. I used this technique to create the block in my avatar.

Ummm... I meant bias, not selvage! lol (but you all knew what I meant)

Hi and welcome to the board from Iowa. I just learned this method and it is awesome. You can make a lot of blocks in a very short time. Thanks for sharing.

I have made them very well without startching fabrics. Just make sure you don't pull them, very easy.

Thank u for your tip but yes beside the starch you press and only press not pull or push and peter to join all then press
