Austin, TX - live music capital of the world.
Another tidbit: the unofficial slogan is "Keep Austin Weird"

Scotty McCreery!!! :D

(Actually, that's 20 miles north of me)

My city....Hmmmm....there's an old well downtown that's now a landmark because "back in the day" Fuquay was a route stop/hitching post/somethin-er-other....

:D

Boy that's a good question.
We have Murray State University home of the Racers.
Small town hospitality, that is when the college is on break. Otherwise the students are just a bunch of rude people.
We are a dry county.
I'm gonna have to do some research.

Even though we (Florida) are not #1 in lightning strikes, we are known as "the lightning capital of the world". Also, Disney, beaches, oranges.....

Useless information: in June of 1993 there were 21,000 lightning strikes recorded within a 50 mile radius of Tampa.

I live in Kapuskasing which is in Northern Ontario Canada. It is a paper mill town....we are famous for our beautiful park along the river....biggest and most beautiful display of flowers in the summer and Xmas lights in the winter...as well as the Biggest Lumberjack Festival in the summer , and the biggest "Saint-Jean Baptiste" Festival in June ( a french Canadian festival).
