Four of us at work decided to make this fruit jar quilt. Worked out great as we were able to share costs of the fruit/veg fabric. My 3 and 5 yr old girls think this is a great quilt and can't wait to take it on a picnic!
The 3 yr old loved the pizza fabric so we used that for the back. The 5yr old loved the ants, so we used that on the borders. I quilted it myself on 'Old Ironsides'- my 1935 Singer 15-91. That machine is AWESOME! I pieced the back and used a leftover white jelly roll strip for a quilt label. Front of quilt PIeced back |

I love this quilt! The pattern, your DDs helping choose the fabric, you did a wonderful job on it :D:D:D

Loving this!! My 12-yr-old is doing this sort of thing with bug fabrics. We're still in the collection phase. She's got my 14-yr-old wanting to do fruit jars, but I told her she has to finish her matching game first. I'm going to show them yours. They'll love it too :)

That came out great! The kids will love it knowing they had a part of making it.
