I don't know why, but I cannot stand bargellos. Funny thing is that I used to do needlepoint bargellos in the 1960s and loved them. Now if I see bargello in the title of a post I skip it.
Same thing with log cabin quilts. Can't stand them. Anyone else? |
I'm not crazy about bargellos either. Some that I have seen here on the board are great, but I wouldn't want to make one.

I don't really care of the crumb quilt. Just too much I think. Don't care for bargello but I do like the log cabin. So many things you can do with that.
|
Are we related? I thought I was the only one who was weird enough not to like bargellos and log cabins! I don't know why I don't like them, I just don't.
|
I like off-center log cabins, but not the regular ones.
Weird. |
I'm also part of your little group as I don't like bargellos and am not keen about log cabins either. The first and only log cabin blocks I made were for a specific quild project and I had to contribute. I'm also not keen on those watercolour quilts. That's the great part about quilting, there is something for everyone!

I cannot stand scrap quilts...any scrap pattern at all. "Random" just doesn't fit my style. I'd rather eat worms than make one.
|
I love bargellos. My thing is OBW. I only like them if they have a solid between the patterns. The others just do not appeal to me. It's probably a good thing I don't care for them, because all that matching and angles looks like a ton of work!

Dresden Plates right from the start, don't know why.
