I recently retired from teaching. Getting to spend more time with my quilting. Learned how to long arm quilt this summer. I love it! Bought a new Janome 3 weeks ago. Not real excited about it since it's already back at the shop to be repaired.

I love to do piecing.

I am also just retired from 19 years of teaching at an elementary school in Dallas, TX. I have 2 Janomes that I love and am just really getting into the groove of having enough time to sew. Seems like the summer disappeared! Welcome to the board. You will love it here.
