I found this pattern and downloaded (not a free one) it from the Clotilde website, I love the huge variety of patterns they offer. However, I did not care for the fabric they had used, and the name of the pattern that correlated to the fabric. It is named "Natures Treasures" and the main parts of the key fabric is intended to be fussy cut around the cardinals . . . or other bird of your choice.
I took the pattern to my LQS and said 'Help me find something else', and this is how it turned out. Typically I am also not a paisley fan, and this seems very similar to paisley, but in black, white and tan. Something about this piece of fabric just GRABBED me, and I had to go with it! I love it, and I'm very happy with the way it turned out. So now I don't know what it should be called - I'm open to any and all creative suggestions.
